MONITORING THE IMPACT ON YOUR B-BBEE SCORECARD:

- Gather and capture all B-BBEE information and evidence onto DRG’s BEE software program “BEST TRAX”.
- Generate scorecard scenario’s, “B-BBEE Action Plan”, in order to assist client in driving it’s B-BBEE strategy.
- Set quarterly BEE strategy monitoring meetings with management to talk through the companies BEE Action Plan, ensuring that B-BBEE deliverables are on track.
- The BEST TRAX software is an administrative tool which helps align the companies Skills Development & Employment Equity with current B-BBEE targets.
- Provides assistance with the co-ordination & administration of apprenticeships, learnerships, skills programs and internships.
- BEST TRAX allows for the B-BBEE monitoring and integration of the companies training matrix, relevant to your Workplace Skills Plan and training costs incurred.
- Prepare the client’s documentation in preparation for a B-BBEE Audit.
- Assist the client in identifying and engaging with a suitable B-BBEE Verification Agency.
- Set up pre audit meeting with Verification Agency to discuss clients evidence.
- Liaise with Verification Agency on client’s behalf regarding queries during B-BBEE audit.
MANAGEMENT CONTROL
- Assist with meeting BEE compliance targets for Senior, Middle & Junior management based on the overall demographic representation of black people as defined by the EEA.
- Analysis of company profile, per management level, thereby meeting BEE & EAP targets.
- Scenario plan & Recognition of Management Control points as employees advance through different management levels.
- Confirm if company fits the Designated Employer status for Employment Equity compliance.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
- A priority element, 40% of target needs to be meet to avoid dropping a level.
- Meet with management to discuss Skills Development strategy and advise on suitable learning interventions making sure the company is BEE compliant i.e. submitted a WSP.
- Assist with the BEE interpretation of skills development based on National / Provincial EAP demographics.
- Assist with Skills Development strategies to meet the new skills targets of 6% of Leviable amount plus identify disabled learners were necessary.
- Facilitate the sourcing of black unemployed people to meet sub sector target via a youth accelerator program, this would assist with retention of unemployed person.
- Using HREZ4U’s Training Matrix to keep track of all black people on Learnerships, Internships & Apprenticeships absorbed in the industry.
- Record all training interventions using HREZ4U’s in-house training matrix to enable easy monthly reporting.
- Ensure all training documentation is collated e.g. certificates, invoices etc.
SKILLS TRAINING COORDINATION AND TRACKING ASSISTANCE:
Mandatory Training
- Source SETA accredited training providers for Skills Programmes, Statutory Training and short courses where applicable.
- Provide training proposals to the client.
- Arrange training dates with the provider & client.
- Enrol learners on training courses.
- Advise company on in house and product training evidence collection.
Training Tracking
- Ensure all training documentation is collated e.g. certificates, invoices etc.
ENTERPRISE & SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT
- Preferential Procurement:
- Set the company BEE Procurement Strategy to meet the desired BEE Company Targets set
- Meet with management to discuss and advice on procurement strategy in line with BEE targets.
- Continuously monitor and analyse the companies Supplier spend
- Supplier Development
- Assist with a strategy in targeting & monitoring of beneficiaries within the companies supply chain in meeting the BEE Supplier Development target
- Assist with the development of an Enterprise & Supplier Development plan for qualifying beneficiaries.
- Advise and assist with drawing up of necessary documentation required to meet measurement criteria as per the BEE Codes.
- Enterprise Development
- Advise and assist with identifying Black owned Enterprises who require support in terms of enterprise Development.
- Advise and assist with drawing up of necessary documentation required to meet measurement criteria as per the BEE Codes
SOCIO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
- Assist the company in identifying and recognising any Socio Economic Development contributions made in line with the BBBEE Codes
